The 2006 RAC TV Adverts Breakdown Cover

Out of the three big motoring orgaisations heavily featured with TV ads this summer I would say that the RAC ad is nearer the mark than the rest. You see a RAC patrolman that looks like a RAC patrolman talk his way through repairing a stranded car and during this conversation there are lots of subtle hints on how much cover will start from. There is a flower garden that says £39, there is key fob that says £39 there is even a road sign that says £39. What I don't understand however is, that it never says if you buy online it is cheaper, in fact at the time of writing this considerably cheaper than using the phone. They are pretty much leaving out a huge selling point and convincing their potential customers that £39 is the cheapest they will ever get RAC breakdown cover.

Well never mind as long as we internet goers know it is cheaper to buy online than over the phone, that is all that matters to me.
