breakdown cover

It only seems a short while since the law came in against using your mobile phone whilst driving and spot fines have been put in place. But now the so called experts are saying it is just as dangerous to drive talking into a bluetooth hands free.

They believe that your attention is taken away from you driving and towards the person on the other end of the phone. It raises the question what can we do whilst driving.

Are we allowed to listen to the radio?

Are we allowed to talk to our passengers?

What is the difference of talking to a passenger or over the phone via handsfree?

Should we prevent pedestrians walking down the road, so it does not distract?

Should there be no advertising boards on roads? After all that is what they are there for.

What is more someone has been paid to issue this advice ir concerns. Just about everything we do in life has a risk associated to it. When we drive we put our lives in our hands, something may go infront of you, bad weather, car failer etc, etc. The breakdown cover on this site has been created because originally the motoring clubs of yesterday knew there is a risk to motoring full stop. They created the breakdown cover service and then the insurance companies, who saw it just as that, insurance took over the srvice providers.

Do we not switch our gas boiler on in case it explodes, of course ther is breakdown cover for that also. Do we not drink hot coffee whilst watching TV, in case we spill it on ourselves? That is what i am doing now.
It’s all too much for me, I say enough is enough!
