We knew it was comming a few races ago, but de we think it woudld fair and square in one of the most difficult and action packed race for ages, well it did and god was it worth it.

I am of course talking about Lewis Hamilton getting his first F1 win after only 6 races, even Michael Schumacher had to wait 18 races for a win and no one, I say no one has been on the podium for the first 6 races of their career. There is no doubt he has a good car under him, but he had the same car, the same team as the world champion has and Lewis is now 8 points ahead.

I have never seen such an impressive British sportsman, who delivers week in week out, he will be world champoin one day and you can’t help thinking he will be with Ferrari at some point in his career, the team with the biggest budget. But he will of course now face the pressure points as all great sportsmen do, not mentioning the publicity, the media and not knowing who is really his freind and who just want a piece of him whilst he is the most popular person in the UK, even david Beckham, must feel as if he is second place.

Lets hope he has enough support to cover him through these exciting times and make sure he does not breakdown with the pressure. It is a pity we did not have breakdown cover patrolmen for famous sports people, to come out and assist in times of need.

I just can’t wait for the next few races and Silverstone will be a sell out no problem, with very few tickets on Ebay compared with previous years.

At only 22 he is the Tiger Woods of motor racing and fully deserves it!!
