A recent campaign has been brough to my attention called Make Roads Safe. You can visit it here at makeroadssafe.org

It is supported by huge names such as Desmond Tutu and Michael Schumacher. It is a global campaign with a death or someone being maimed every 6 seconds throughout the world.

A child dies every 3 minutes too, through driving accidents.

Within the site their is a petition to sign for the United Nations to do more and reduced death and accidents on the worlds roads. Of course you can do something the very next time you get in your car to drive. Reduce your speed, you may think it wont happen to you, but it just might.

This is not about points on your licence its about saving lives.
