breakdown cover

Ok, I mentioned this a few posts ago about how the Top Gear Magazine seems to conflict with the TV show.

My next moan is aimed at Jeremy who I clearly remeber stating that his loaned Toyota Prius hybrid did not deliver any better MPG tha a normal deisel car and when you took everything into considertaion, like extra materials to build the car, the extra energy in production and the extra plastic and products with the car that needed to be disposed of at the end of the cars life, that this hybrid, hurt the enviroment more than a normal car.

Am I right or have I got this mixed up with another make or model?

Yet here i am reading Top Gear’s Test Directory and the best cost winner in the Family car section is, you have guessed it, the Toyota Prius. it states that there is no getting away from it! The Toyota Prius can DRAMITICALLY cut your fuel bills, not to mention significantly lighter in terms of the enviroment.

Where is the breakdown in communication here? Or have I got it wrong, someone help me!

If i am right then the writers of the magazine need to watch the TV show, so it does not confuse the reader.
