Because it is sometimes difficult to find subjects to write about that are related to breakdown cover I sometimes buy the od mag, to give me inspiration or even factaul information.
This week I have bought the Top Gear Test Directory, of which I am sure to be writing about the odd car here and there in future blogs.
But the first thing that caught my eye was some of the inconsistancy within its pages and here is an example.
Only a few weeks ago I talked about the Top Gear’s Survey results, where the public vote on what cars have been good value since they bought them.
The Ford Ka in that survey came 84th out of 100. We are reminded of that fact in this mag too.
Yet even so, they have repoted that the Ford Ka is the best used budget car at the moment.
I just don’t get it, how can they quote “anyone wanting a reliable hatch” when it was voted as one of the worst. just don’t make sense.
The Ford Ka is also mentioned as “best for fun”, is that when you are waiting for the breakdown cover patrol man to arrive, you play cards or something?
Most of the other cars in this class have a better rating or no rating at all and with the Kia Picanto getting a result of 2oth in the survey, you would have thought it would be best used as well as the best value.
