It doesn’t seem that long ago that Vinie Jones was mixing with the A list celebrities in Hollywood and staring in films such gone in sixty seconds and a remake of that prison American Football thing that Burt Reynolds did in the 70s.
But now he is back on the screen, on a TV advert promoting RAC breakdown cover. The story is that he is traveling in a car with a lady which then breaks down. He jumps out of the car and runs through the forest for help. By the time he gets back, the lady has rang the RAC, which has turned up and repaired the car.
The message being that the RAC have put more patrols on at night.
It seems like a bit of a step down for Vinnie who, I am sure would rather be in Hollywood, working on a multi million block buster.
What it doesn’t show, is the make of car that Vinnie would be associated with. I suppose it is better than a field full of AA breakdown Cover men singing ” Call Out My Name”.
