Lets see, you breakdown on a country road and then in the distance you see hundreds yes hundreds of AA patrolmen coming towards you singing. "Winter spring summer or fall, all you have got to do is call and we'll be there we'll be there, You've got a friend". Hmm well I would prefer a mechanic that will fix my car and get me on my way, not singers that look like they do not know the difference between a radiator and the back axle. The song is quite catchy and I have to admit it just keeps circling my mind but if it was to show what the AA is all about in 60 seconds, I believe it fails miserably. I preferred the old 4th emergency service, because that is what I believe a breakdown cover company is. Someone who helps you in an emergency. It is true they got a bit os stick from that ne too, as obviously the police, ambulance and the fire brigade do have more dangerous jobs, but I felt it never tried to compete with them, hence being 4th.
